Well we are back again with another blog hop and giveaway!!!
If you were not apart of the one last month let me tell you how it works. A group of artist/bloggers get together and each day for the blog hop a person will write a post sharing their art and at the bottom of it they will post the giveaway prize that artist is going to give. To win, all you need to do is comment on their post! SIMPLE! And to win more prizes just follow the links posted to the other blogs, write comments on their posts for chances to win what they are giving away! EASY PEASY!
Well so now that i have all that explained (wink) on to my blog post….
This summer has been so fun! I have got to take a road trip with my sister to see my Dad and his side of the family. Some of them I have not seen since I was 15 years old! I hung out at my aunt’s lake house and found out not only do I look like my aunt but how much more I am like her than I even knew! She is an artist, a home renovator, and a “Jill-of-all-trades”! She is just awesome! I also got to hang out lake side with my cousin Carl while our kids played together. You would never imagined so much time had past. We just picked up as if we have always hung around each other. It was all around such a wonderful time!
Then this past weekend I got to go hang out with my husband’s family at a different lake! ha ha I think this is summer of ‘The Lakes’ for my family! (wink) We rode around during the day in the boat and swimming on the lake. Then at night the kids ran around playing tag in the dark and we all roasted marshmallows by the fire! These moments really just scream loudly to me how blessed I am. And how much I love my family!
On my last trip I was able to spend some time drawing early in the morning while everyone was still asleep. This was actually my first time to ever just sit outside by myself and do this. I don’t know what took me so long. But it is going to become something I do more regularly! It is so peaceful. And the nature is so inspiring!!!
Well….enough gabbing about my trips! (wink)
I came home and decided to get busy on my this post for the July’s BLOG HOP!!! Guada has us doing faces this month. So I thought to pull out my camera this time and film myself painting one. I love watching speed paintings on YouTube. It is so fun to watch the process!! I hope you enjoy this!
If you want you can click on the gear to put it in HD mode and also on the bottom right hit the button to put it into full screen mode.
OK Well the music YouTube was not what I thought it was going to be. SOOO IF you are listening to this and it is singing nutty music please ignore it. I am trying to upload some classical. It will take a bit…bear with me. I’m new to this part. (wink)
Here are some pictures I took of her once she was finished.
So now for my giveaway!
All you need to do is leave a comment and you will be winning a set of Ranger products I put together for embossing. This pen is the embossing ink that does detailed work and the perfect pearls is a beautiful shiny white powder that when you brush it on will just shine. I will announce the winners Next Friday!

YAY I didn’t know if my blog would let me post a link. ha ha There are free tutorials on it too. I actually was afraid of faces until about 2 years ago. And I took a class. Opened things up for me. Now they are my favorite things to paint. Funny huh?
